How Categories Work:
Vogue balls are competitive events rooted in Black LGBTQ+ ballroom culture, where participants compete in different categories, each with its own theme, rules, and criteria for judging.
These categories are meant to celebrate self-expression, identity, fashion, dance, and performance.

FAQ
I can't afford a ticket. But I NEED to attend. Can you help me?
We may have a very limited amount of sponsored tickets. Email hello@thesyndicateabq.com to get on our waiting list.
What should I wear?
This event will feature several ultraviolet lights. We suggest you dress in white or all the neon you own. The UV lights in the venue will help you GLOW as you watch our evenings dancers light up the runway.
How can I compete?
Ballroom is not for the faint of heart. But if the spirit moves you, bring it to the runway. At the start of each category, the host will ask "Is anybody walking?". This is your moment to find the end of the runway and make a moment happen.
Wanna learn how to successfully compete? RSVP for our series of free lessons leading up to the ball.
We have 10 spots for lessons! First come, first serve.
How can I support?
We are accepting sponsorships from local organizations, businesses, and individuals that align with our values and goals.
Email hello@thesyndicateabq.com for our sponsorship letter and opportunities to volunteer.
